Prospective cohort study of the venous system through duplex mapping in the puerperal pregnancy cycle

Objective: To evaluate the changes in venous system during pregnancy and childbirth pregnant postpartum women without previous disease. Methods: This is an observational, analytical prospective cohort study carried out from May 2021 to October 2021, undergoing caesarean section on their first postoperative day, with duplex mapping being performed assess diameter reflux of great small saphenous veins, mean flow velocity common femoral veins dorsal decubitus comparison velocities when adopting left right lateral position before day. Result: 49 were evaluated, increase was observed positions relation pre- post-cesarean decubitus. The vein increased period, regardless adopted. Conclusion: There improvement change after termination pregnancy.
